It’s a difficult subject for me to discuss as enthusiastically as I would want too, as I now have a vested interest in the business! It’s one of these organisations that allow you to become a reseller of their product, in order to clinch a better deal for yourself!
The product made total sense to me, from many different angles (Which I’ll explain in a moment) and was the first “Good” thing I’d ever become addicted too! Please ignore my eulogising, and research it for yourself. It has an astonishingly simple foundation, and a respectable, well known track record.
So what’s it all about? The basic product has been developed over the past 15 years by a Doctor Robert O Young. His theory states that there is only one illness, and therefore only one cure!
Doctor Young’s experiments started with him proving that all Bacteria and Viruses were exceptionally good at reproducing themselves in an acid environment, but died in an alkaline environment. Therefore if you keep your body alkaline, (PH7.4 or Higher) cells will not be able to mutate and multiply! (Simple advice!) Thus Cancer or the common cold are treated in exactly the same way! Get the environment sorted out, and everything else will slot into place!
Personally I have found this to be true, having discovered new reserves of energy, and having gone through winter without a sniffle. (In the preceding 15 years, I’d have expected to have about 3 weeks off sick, by February!)
The other thing that appealed to me immensely, was the simple method of keeping my body fueled with this great stuff, whilst being “out and about” all the time, my hectic lifestyle never really helped me to eat well. As we are all beginning to realise, “You are, what you eat!” It’s really easy to carry the drink about with you all day, and keep your system fueled (It’s also delicious!)
So whilst the good doctor has publish quite a few “Best-sellers” on diet, which I really recommend you read, he has also produced a product, to emulate the effects of his alkaline diet. His pH balanced Green Drink formula is made from 49 different types of green leaves, shoots and sprouts. They are freeze-dried to keep their power, and put into powder form. It is suggested that you drink between 1 and 3 litres a day of the mixture, depending on how quickly you’d like to alkalise you body. (Also ones personal budget comes into the equation too!)
If you have had a long term condition, it is going to take a while for you to sort it completely, but if you are prepared for the long haul, your life will be very different in a few months time. You will have loads more energy, and old problems will start to fall away. Each Liter of the green drink that you drink, represents 1 ½ lbs of leaves! That’s one huge salad! If you are like me, and don’t exactly thrive on veggies and salad, then it’s a huge godsend!
What’s the bottom line? The cost per pack is about £55.00 (Greens and Drops). Each pack will last you up to 6 weeks, depending on how fast you want to change your system. I guess if you view it as the same cost for an hour of most alternative therapies, once a month, then it looks quite good?

Over acidity, which can become a dangerous condition that weakens all body systems, is very common today. It gives rise to an internal environment conducive to disease, as opposed to a pH-balanced environment which allows normal body function necessary for the body to resist disease. A healthy body maintains adequate alkaline reserves to meet emergency demands. When excess acids must be neutralized, our alkaline reserves are depleted leaving the body in a weakened condition.
The concept of acid alkaline imbalance as the cause of disease is not new. In 1933 a New York doctor named William Howard Hay published a ground-breaking book, A New Health Era in which he maintains that all disease is caused by autotoxication (or ‘self-poisoning’) due to acid accumulation in the body:
‘Now we depart from health in just the proportion to which we have allowed our alkalies to be dissipated by introduction of acid-forming food in too great amount… It may seem strange to say that all disease is the same thing, no matter what its myriad modes of expression, but it is verily so.’ William Howard Hay, M.D.
More recently, in his remarkable books Sick and Tired, The pH Miracle, The pH Miracle for Diabetes, The pH Miracle for Weight Loss and his CD series, The pH Miracle for Men and Women and The pH Miracle for Cancer, Dr. Robert O. Young says essentially the same thing:
‘There is only one sickness and one disease and that is the over-acidification of the blood and then tissues due to an inverted way of living, eating and thinking.”
pH (potential of hydrogen) is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. It is measured on a scale of 0 to 14–the lower the pH the more acidic the solution, the higher the pH the more alkaline (or base) the solution. When a solution is neither acid nor alkaline it has a pH of 7 which is neutral.
Water is the most abundant compound in the human body, comprising 70% of the body. The body continually strives to balance pH. When this balance is compromised many problems can occur. It is important to understand that we are also talking about the stomach pH which should have a pH of 7.2 or above.
Your body is able to assimilate minerals and nutrients properly only when its pH is in alkaline balance. It is therefore possible for you to be taking healthy nutrients and yet be unable to absorb or use them. If you are not getting the results you expected from your nutritional or herbal program, look for an acid alkaline imbalance.
What Causes Me to Become Acidic?
The reason acidosis is more common in our society is mostly due to the typical American diet, which is far too high in acid-producing animal products like meat, eggs and dairy, and far too low in alkaline-producing foods like fresh vegetables. Additionally, we eat acid-producing processed foods like white flour and sugar and drink acid-producing beverages like coffee and soft drinks. We use too many drugs, which are acid-forming; and we use artificial chemical sweetners which are extremely acid-forming. One of the best things we can do to correct an overly-acidic body is to clean up the diet and lifestyle.
Most people who suffer from unbalanced pH are acidic. This condition forces the body to borrow minerals–including calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium–from vital organs and bones to buffer (neutralize) the acid and safely remove it from the body. Because of this strain, the body can suffer severe and prolonged damage due to high acidity–a condition that may go undetected for years.
Mild acidosis can cause such problems as:
* Cardiovascular damage, including the constriction of blood vessels and the reduction of oxygen.
* Weight gain, obesity and diabetes.
* Bladder and kidney conditions, including kidney stones.
* Immune deficiency.
* Acceleration of free radical damage, possibly contributing to cancerous transformations.
* Premature aging.
* Osteoporosis; weak, brittle bones, hip fractures and bone spurs.
* Joint pain, aching muscles and lactic acid buildup.
* Low energy and chronic fatigue.
A recent seven-year study conducted at the University of California, San Francisco, on 9,000 women showed that those who have chronic acidosis are at greater risk for bone loss than those who have normal pH levels. The scientists who carried out this experiment believe that many of the hip fractures prevalent among middle-aged women are connected to high acidity caused by a diet rich in animal foods and low in vegetables. Hi, I’m Dr. Robert O. Young. You may know my book, The pH Miracle. I’ve also written 7 other books along with my wife. After that, you are going to appreciate farmer’s markets, fresh vegetables, fruit, and local growers more than ever before.
First, so you know where I’m coming from, I’d like to tell you a word about myself. I have five degrees in science and I hold three doctoral degrees, but I’m not an M.D. type doctor. If I were, my training would not have STRESSED the most important subject there is–nutrition.
In 400 B.C., Hippocrates, the father of all doctors, said, “let your medicine be your food, and let your food be your medicine.” My areas of expertise include nutrition, diet, blood analysis, microbiology, and disease prevention.
I have looked at the blood of over 10,000 people. Long before people feel any symptoms, I can tell if they have a serious health challenge just by looking at their blood.
For one very important reason, most vegetables and some fruit–especially fresh from family gardens or the green fields of local growers–are important to your family’s health.
What is that one most important reason?
The reason is that YOUR BLOOD MUST MAINTAIN a pH of
7.365 to keep you healthy. To fight off the acids that produce the symptoms of colds, flu, illness, cancer, AIDS–you name it–your blood must be 7.365.
Do you remember from your chemistry class that a pH of 0-7 is acid and a pH of 7-14 is alkaline (or base)?
So, your blood must be slightly alkaline (pH 7.365) for you to be in good shape–inside and out–with a robust, healthy, and active immune system.
BUT HERE’S THE PROBLEM…AND IT’S A BIG ONE ! !
Most of the food in the average American diet–and most of the food items in the grocery store– are acidic.
Some foods like meat, cheese, sugar, snack foods, condiments and alcohol are VERY acidic.
If you are eating mostly acidic foods, your body is desperately turning itself inside out and upside down trying to neutralize all the acids–struggling to maintain 7.365. But it’s a losing battle! Said another way, while waging war to keep your blood healthy, various parts of your body are getting sick long before you know it–long before you experience symptoms.
That’s correct. For almost all of us, our body is in danger of being defeated by an acidic diet and we have little clue as to what’s quietly developing inside of us. Some symptoms take 5 to 10 years to show up–even though a cellular microscopist, properly trained, can immediately see the earliest stages under the microscope with one tiny drop of blood.
And I’ll tell what’s even worse. Many of us think that the symptoms we are already aware of are “normal.” Read this list. Do you think these everyday problems are normal?
* Overweight indigestion
* feeling tired headaches
* skin problems PMS
* high blood pressure anxiety
* depression fatigue
* allergies yeast
* irritability food cravings
* the flu one or two colds a year
Every one of these problems is a result of the pH of your blood, tissues and cells being out of whack. EVERY ONE!
And most of us go around thinking those problems are
“normal.” They might be the “average” but they are
definitely not “normal.”
It is impossible to “catch a cold” if your blood is a healthy pH 7.365. No cold germ can get a foothold in an internal alkaline environment. IT TAKES ACID TO HELP CREATE A COLD…or feed any germ like a bacteria or fungus. It is a tremendous relief to most people to learn that there is only one disease–and one cure!
Not only are we losing the battle, but ¾ of us will die from cancer or heart disease. Why? Because our body will have LOST the fight to balance our blood and keep it at a healthy acid-alkaline balance of pH, of 7.365.
So, what to do! The answer is NOT complicated. You simply have to know which foods to eat, which ones to cut down on, and which ones to avoid as much as possible.

The five or so most common and best fruits would include greenish-yellow bananas, sour cherries, coconut, watermelon, grapefruit, cantaloupe, strawberries, and blueberries. My book will also surprise you by telling you about several fruits which are very high in acid and that you should avoid. For instance, fresh orange juice and apple juice should be cut with high-alkaline water as oranges and apples have way more sugar that your body needs–or can cope with over time.
